German Varietals
Whilst a quarter of German area is planted with Riesling, other varietal wines such as the expressive Pinot types are produced in areas where the climate and soil type is similar to that of French Burgundy. As part of the Deinhard varietals range, we include trending wines such as Pinot Grigio or a Pinot Noir Rosé.
Pinot Noir Rosé
Apperance
Provence style coloured, blush rosé.
Nose
Fresh, fruity, dry, well balanced.
Palate
Predominantly red berries such as strawberry, raspberry, cherry, balanced by rose hip and black currant, a finish of herbs and white chocolate.
Food Match
Smoked fish, pastries, summer salads or simply on its own.
